Olelo might be best known as Hawaii’s public access station, showing 24 hours of programming on a handful of local channels. They have satellite offices all across Oahu, but their main location is in Mapunupuna, five minutes away from the Honolulu International Airport which makes them really convenient no matter which side of the island you’re coming from.

What many don’t know is that they also teach classes on video production

Host seminars and conferences

Own lots of camera gear

Have multiple edit stations

and house two studio spaces.

They also live stream news, events, press conferences and a plethora of other things.

At our next Hawaii Shoots event, we’ll take a tour of their facility and hear a little about what they do before diving into our discussion.
